During the cake cutting portion, our parents were asked to make a speech to us. & this was the opening of my dad's speech.
Pertemuan ini pertemuan yang pada saya adalah satu pertemuan yang bukan diatur oleh manusia, tetapi ianya diatur oleh Allah SWT, dan inilah pertemuan yang sangat istimewa untuk anak perempuan saya dan pasangannya.In my earlier post, I mentioned about the three loves that I had/have. And the opening portion of my dad's speech is on point when it comes to how we met. Why?
During the time that we got to know each other, we found out that we were always next to each other (not literally - but close), throughout us growing up. From us being in the same neighborhood, to us hanging out at the exact same spot and having the same mutual friend. Even my first love was his camp mate!
But never once did we lay eyes on each other, never once did we come to know of each other's existence. It was then that I realize how great Allah's plan is for us, for every one of us. Jodoh itu rahsia Allah. Every thing in our lives has been written since the day we were in our mother's belly. When the time is right, He will give unto us what we deserve. Allah does not give us what we want when we want it, but He will give us what we need when we need it.
Indeed, at the point of time when every thing was wrong, and we're both searching for what's missing, we were given each other. To love and be loved. But above all, to love Allah and trust Him and His plans. When we put Allah first before everything else, every thing will fall into place.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that... we just gotta KEEP CALM AND HAVE FAITH IN ALLAH. Even if you're not pious. Even if you're still sinning every single day. We are ultimately humans, and we sin unknowingly.
