Rab came over to my place on the 21st and we make our way to the airport around 2230hrs. My parents wanted to leave earlier, but they took more time packing their own stuff instead. Hahaha. Oh btw, they're leaving for Malacca & not HKG.
Met Princess at her void deck for a while since I'm borrowing her camera for the trip. My digi cam was dying on me. (-.-) The battery drained out quite fast even after charging it full. Haiz. Time for a new one I guess? Rab brought her DSLR so I couldn't be bothered to bring mine. Too bulky. :/
Reached the airport and went to check in our bags first & the queue was super longggggggg. Booo! :( Saw my friend but then she was busy clearing the line so I didn't want to bother her further. Tapi once she's done, I texted her and she said why tk pegi kt die je. So yeap, thanks anyway Ely! :D
Went to McDonalds after that for us to have our dinner before take off, and we have to rush off to the boarding gate already. I really hate rushing, but nasib there was enough time for us to buy ciggies & smoke first before our flight.
The take off was quite bumpy and it was nerve wrecking for the first time in my entire life. Alhamdulillah, we landed safe & sound. :D We were 20mins ahead of schedule and totally lost as to what should we do to kill time since it's only like 0530hrs.
We purchased our Octopus card at the MTR information counter (HKD150) & topped up another HKD 50 for our whole trip. (It was just nice for our 4days & 4nights, so if your itinerary is almost similar to mine, that is the amount you will need for your whole trip there)

Stanley, our Airbnb apartment host, was nice to extend our early check-in to 11am instead of 12noon. Finally left the airport around 0940hours and made our way to the apartment. It was located near Yau Ma Tei station, which is roughly one hour journey from the airport via MTR. You don't have to be afraid of getting lost cause their train system is so similar to ours!
Check-ed in, rested for a while, then we went to Ma's Restaurant located near Prince Edward station to have our lunch. They serve halal Chinese Food. But be warned that if you're a small eater, their portion is big and can be shared among two people.

We went on to Tsim Sha Tsui district since we were plan-less on the first day, Walked around from the MTR station, getting somewhat lost along the way before finally reaching Avenue of Stars. We went there in the afternoon so there wasn't any fancy lights or a beautiful scenery. But lesser crowds beat the scenery heads on for us.
We realised that the use of monopod isn't a norm amongst the local. Most of them were looking at our monopod and most of them looked fascinated by it. It was obvious that those who carried a monopod was obviously a foreigner. Hehh :P
Walked around TST area after this before heading back to our apartment to rest & wash up. In the evening, we went to Ladies Market / Mongkok area. We walked from our apartment - it was surprisingly near and safe!
Came across the riot area but it wasn't chaotic at all.. The locals and the police were standing opposite of each other. I noticed that tourists were taking selfies & videos of the situtaion. It wasn't dangerous at all.
