Day 2. The day that Rabia break away from her fear of heights. Glad to say that she did manage to overcome and took all the thrill rides! So happy for her! :)
First place to go for the day was to Ocean Park!!! When we left our place, the weather didn't look so good, it was cloudy and the weather forecast indicated a slight shower in the evening. We were worried that it might affect our itinerary but thankfully it didn't rain.
I read on the travelogues that we were supposed to take a bus from Central's bus interchange but when we went there, no such bus exist and we only realised that they changed the bus station when a group of foreigners asked the staffs there. The sign was small and it wasn't placed somewhere obvious.
So, please note everybody, the bus now departs from Tin Hau station. I'm not sure if it'll be permanent or just temporary cause of the riot and all.

The fountain lights show was nice with all the beautiful colors. But we were too hungry to stay and we still have to go to the Peak later so we left Ocean Park around 7pm? Took the bus back to Tin Hau station and then took the train to Wan Chai station. From the map at the station, it looked near but it was surprisingly far from the station. We tooked about 15mins or so with quite a fast pace walk. Plus it was uphill.
Oh btw, this canteen is in a Mosque people. So try not to dress skimpy? Even I feel a little weird when I found out. & the dim sum is only served between 10am-3pm everyday.

We felt that it's a bit more pricey here, given that the portion are lesser than at Ma's. Maybe cause it's popular amongst the Muslim travelers. I mean like just google halal foods in Hong Kong and you will not miss out this place. So yea. But fret not, their foods are just as nice. :)
Left the place around 8:45pm for our final itinerary for the day. The Peak & Madamme Tussauds. Walked back to Wan Chai station and took the train to Central, then walked uphill before reaching the Peak itself. It took about 10mins, brisk walking pace to reach the tram station. Lucky it wasn't crowded and we bought the two-way tram tickets within a minute.
It'll be better if you get to sit on the right side of the tram for both rides up and down cause the view is simply amazing, with the night lights and all. It was like taking a roller coaster, just the part where its ascending and without the safety bars. You can definitely feel gravity pulling you down.
Reached the top and went in to the wax museum straightaway cause by then it was nearing to 9:15pm and the museum closes at 10:30pm?

And... I think that sums up the day pretty much. Head back to our apartment after that to prepare for another long day tomorrow.
